[Pro] Flikr?

I just came across this website on the Perch Show & Tell Forum and I’m really impressed with not only the responsive design, but the photo gallery as well.

It looks like the website is linking to flikr. How is this accomplished? Can it be done with Freeway Pro?

Thanks Walter. Has anyone used this in a FWP website. I’m curious to see how much styling you can do. This may provide a nice solution to a project I’m working on.

Just a note, there are some serious ownership and control issues with
professional images and social media. I bailed from Instagram recently
after they announced a TOS change that specified that your photos were
their property to use as they saw fit. They backed off after user outrage,
but everyone knows they’re just circling round to come at it again. Flickr
is owned by Getty Images, which (for now) allows users to participate
voluntarily in their image licensing. Their discussion and view of artist
rights downright scares me. Just saying.

It’s not so much that they’re owned by Getty, but that they partner with them to monetize images (at the artist’s discretion). More here: http://www.flickr.com/help/gettyimages/

Flickr is owned by Yahoo.

My mistake, though the point I think is important. Are my business images
safe on social media, or can I lose legal control of them?

I suppose if my client is happy with social media, then I’m covered. But
what if I suggest this route and bad shit happens? It’s enough concern to
disturb my afternoon nap time.

If you explain upfront the potential for bad shit to happen and put a disclaimer in your contract and they sign-off on it anyway then how much more can you realistically do to cover your ass? Other than completely steer them away from such outlets.
