Anyone have any idea how to create a “flip book” (using photographs-jpeg’s)
inside 5.5 ? Already tried page-flip - not user friendly.

Sorry, which one is that? If you mean the kludgy script I wrote a
couple years ago, yes I agree it’s very unfriendly.

If you are lucky (or unlucky) to have Adobe InDesign CS5 there is a feature to create a flip book “flash” export right out of the box.
If you are stuck give me a shout.

Vertical Moon’s SWF 'n Slide Pro has a simple flip book option which I used here:
