[Pro] Font Color in Popup List and Text Field

I have a list popup whose text I wish to style. The inspector seems to allow this, but nothing takes. Is there a magic handshake?

(Same with a text field.)

There is an Action you can use for this, I think it’s called Input Styler or something like that. Have a look on the Forge.

Shucks. Spoke too soon.

Look at these settings:

They produce the following effect over both an html or a gif box.

The top menu has the action applied. The bottom one does not. All I wish to do is color the text that dark green you see in the text field. I’d like the text to otherwise appear as in the unmodified menu.

Notice that the option to color text is not active in the settings.

Try using ‘Override Suggested’ instead of ‘Menu’ to give more options.

Still no color and still that white background rectangle.

The option to change the color DOES now appear but has no effect.
