Does anyone else have this problem, using Freeway’s base set of fonts (Times, Helvetica Courier, Symbol, Verdana, Trebuchet and Georgia), both Verdana and Trebuchet display on screen as Times, the rest are all fine.
When the file is published, all is okay, it’s just the display within the Freeway file itself.
Yes. Annoying, isn’t it! Particularly with Verdana, as the scale is wildly wrong. Trebuchet is less of a problem.

Absolutely Colin, it winds me up no end having to look at Times all
day when I’m Freeway-ing.

Check your Font Sets for those fonts haven’t had their screen font option changed to Times. Go to Edit>Font Sets, select the set that is causing a problem and make sure the Screen Font option matches the first font in the set.
Hope this helps.

I couldn’t do it! Why not make your own font-family?
That’s it Joe, perfect. But how did that happen in the first place? As
far as I know I’ve never fiddled with the default font sets.
Isn’t it nice looking at a document the way you want to see it?!??!

I’m not sure to be honest, I haven’t come across any cases of this happening automatically. Have you ever disabled those fonts using a font management tool and opened that document?

I’ve had this happen consistently since Freeway 1 or 2. My
understanding of the issue was always that I use a font management
software that works by PostScript name, so Verdana is known internally
as VerdanaRegular or something like that. In order to sort it out, I
have to go through the steps Joe outlined – re-select that font-set
and choose the correct screen font.
This has been, in the past, a spot I learned to tread carefully
around, as it could reliably lead to a crash. So I learned to avoid
doing this while a document was open, save the change, and then quit
and restart Freeway. I’ve had this issue crop up from time to time
when opening a file that a client sent me (one that didn’t originate
on my Macs, with their matching font libraries) but I don’t recall it
happening all that recently.
