[Pro] Footer falling off bottom of page...

Hi there,
First post, so please forgive my ignorance! Have built very simple 6 page site with CSS button off. When published info on several pages at bottom of page including footer and links always drop off page area. Nothing close, or overlapping these items. Should i build simple content text/images with CSS button on to prevent this happening or is there a more simple solution?? (D/checked page setup, ALL page dimensions are consistent etc etc)
Would appreciate any feedback.
Best
Jerry

I’m not certain from your description (a URL would help) but it
sounds like your content needs a taller page. Is everything within
that page rectangle? Scroll down and check…
If not, just make that page longer using the Inspector palette.

Table-based items are only published if they sit within their page
area. Layered (CSS on) items are published anyway, but it is a very
good idea to use the page area just the same.

Is this helpful or have I completely mis-guessed?

Thanks K, apologies had to go offline.

Everything is rectangular and all items are well within the page area.

Can change individual pages but would like all pages to be consistent, as the content is fairly small.

Any ideas?

Best J.

I think you need to set it up so the white area expands with the content. That first page especially is so tight, it would be a miracle if that stayed like that in all browsers.

Speaking as a wearer of bifocals, I tried enlarging the text size as I often do. The item borders break up, and of course the “footer” --which is just a table cell, is further down my browser page.

The page is just too tall to see it all at once in my browser window. And I have about as little browser window poohbah open as possible: no icons in toolbars, only one toolbar. Most people use a lot more window space for toolbars than do I!
