[Pro] Form Fields

I’m relatively knew to Freeway and I’m using Freeway Pro 5.5.1. Here’s what I find. When I insert a form field on a page in Freeway that it will display less than 50% of it’s width when publish. What happened What you see is what you get?

Is there a way for me to make this for me?
I’ve also downloaded form element styler, but it doesn’t seem to work with 5.5. It won’t install.

Any direction is appreciated.

Best,
Chuck

Chuck,

When you unzip the action you can either:

Select the action and then ‘Get info’ and select FW 5.5 to open the
action with then try installing it by double clicking after you close
the get info window.

or

When the action is unzipped move it to the Freeway 5 actions folder:
Home > Library > Application support > Freeway 5 > Actions

Hi Mike,

In using form element styler. I apply the font, style and size, then publish. I don’t see any difference in my field entry, the size of the characters are the same. What am I doing wrong?

I notice that you produce the easibase forms. How different is your product from Forms to Go.

Does your product do things differently that forms to go?
What I don’t like about forms to go is the opening in a new window of the messaging part?

Hi Chuck,

The Form Element Styler needs to be applied to each of the actual
field or form elements to be effective.

PHP easiForm is a set of actions for sending contact forms similar to
FTG, the most effective way of using easiForm to set it to load a
success page when the form is sent, otherwise it will reload the form
page and show the user any required field errors they might have if
you have applied the PHP easiForm Errors action above the form elements.

PHP easiForm uses encrypted scripts while FTG does not, you should set
up your form with the actions and make sure you have it all working
before purchasing the action/s to be sure your hosting server is
ioncube friendly. A license is needed for each * domain * that
easiForm is used on while I think FTG is a one payment option.

If you are using the RPL Action it will force form elements to output at the same size as they are in Freeway, overriding any other Actions that may change its size (this is so to reduce the chances of layouts breaking).

What do you mean by the RPL action?
