I’m creating a Form right now.
Since it’s not an oridnary contact form, more like an order form i would like to know if it’s possible to only send the form if certain text areas or checkboxes are filled in.
Like, if you do not insert your phone number, you can’t send the form… is that possible or no way???
If your server is ioncube friendly then you can use the PHP easiForm
Actions, for the fields you require a visitor to use before the form
is sent you just enter those field names into the required list in the
action inspector. Currently you cannot tell a field it must be a
number field but you can add it to the required list which means it
will need content before the form is sent.
Check with your host or upload the ioncube folder to the home
directory of your server and then open:
http//YOUR_DOMAIN/ioncube/ioncube-loader-helper.php
to see the current status of ioncube on your server.
The latter has an in depth PDF about creating a form in Freeway and
then using these actions with it or ou can read through a short
tutorial here: http://www.easibase.com/freeway/freeway_form.php
There is a small charge per domain for the PHP easiForm Action but
this permits as many forms as you want on that domain, you can also
set the whole thing up and make sure you are happy with the way it
works etc. before purchasing the action.

Hi Tim,
Certainly. It’s called form validation and can be done either with a
script in the browser or on the server when the form gets processed.
Each has it’s pros and cons. Try the Validate Form Suite of actions at ActionsForge - The Complete Repository of Freeway Actions

Tim.

Turns out the change in the system was the gmail address the forms were directed to. Google must have tweaked some logic because the form responses were treated as spam. Hmm. Thanks David and Mike for helping.
