[Pro] Freelance work

Guys,

I use Freeway, but only occasionally - I am predominately a print/ad designer. I have designed a website for myself and I want it to look the Dog’s. I would like someone to put the structure of it together (i.e. the background image) so I can then populate it with text and change it as I go.

I have a visual in jpeg form if anyone would like to see it.

Thanks

Andy Southern

You can contact me offline if you’d like. I’d be interested in taking a look at it and possibly putting something together.

What is the budget or is just a simple file > web conversion?

If you master Photoshop you have a clear way to do it all by
yourself. Think of Freeway as a PS project in first place, just
design as you will for a flyer, create and save backgrounds, logos,
images and so on. The only difference in FW is that you can add
actions and functions to your design (links, sound, video, flash).
Keep the size of images in pixels as closed as possible to end
output. Save them as jpeg, png, gif or PS it all works on FW. The
standard size for a web project is around 900x1000 pixels, so work
around this on PS to create your background. Once on FW you may
experience blur images or smaller images once you place them in the
work space, just resize to original size and click preview. It work’s
great. 90% of my clients sites are done in PS, I use FW to put all
the pieces together, write some text, add html items and links. FW by
itself is a great app, the best for a Mac base designer, but it gets
much better with the Adobe Creative Pack. A good alternative is
Intaglio and Easy Web Animator. If you look at Freeway as you look at
Dreamweaver is a world of differences, FW is for designers. Don’t
think much, jump on it and enjoy the ride.
