Hi there, I am a complete newbe to both, freeway and blogger.
I have no experience whatsoever, but I made a template for blogger in Freeway. I used freeway moments video at YouTube
to create a template for blogger.
As you can see when you click the link to example, there is only enough space for one message.
When I post more the content shows up in the darkblue background! It’s off the template itself. I want the lightblue of the template scroll down automaticly when there is more content been placed. I hope you understand what I mean.
The lightblue of the template should not end but being endless. Is this possible? And how to do that?
Any help would be appreciated very much.
Prem
There are two methods to get the page to “grow” with your posts.
Apply the RPL (Relative Page Layout) action to your page. Select the page in the sidebar, then open the page menu, actions>RPL. Start with the slider at “0”. It might work, but again, it might not. Some issues can be fixed using the “remove from relative page layout” action, and/or by bumping up that slider bar (refer to the Using Freeway manual for more complete directions).
I would try this method first, as it’s fast and easy.
Build your page “inline”. This is more advanced and more work, but will work with certainty if you do it correctly. There are some very good directions to follow here: http://www.freewaytalk.net/thread/view/31133
Hello Caleb,
Thank you so much for your help. I tried your suggestions but it did not work for me. I think this has to do with my lack of experience.
Anyway I also tried to download the blogger template SMART from your site, but this also does not seem to work.
Both download options are linked to Applelicous.
No download option for SMART.
Can you help me out?
Merry Christmas !
best,
Prem
