I just visited my Google webmaster page and noticed an error at the sitemap section. I says it cannot find the sitemap. So I looked at my webspace and noticed that Freeway does upload a file, but where it was sitemap.xml for months, now it’s called sitemapb.xml.
I completely emptied my webspace, removed the action from the folder, re-applied the action and uploaded my site from scratch, but still the file is uploaded as sitemapb.xml.
Since I can not recall doing anything causing this and I want Google to be able to find my sitemap without having to check for a different name, is there anything I can do to change this behavior back to what it did all the months before?
Could you try emptying the local Site Folder and then reuploading? Well, actually, you should only need to remove any of the sitemap files that may be in there.
