just started the review of my pervious screencast series building proper inflow-constructions ( http://freewaycast.com/screencasts/view/104-boxmodel-contest which is still valid btw.). It took me a while cause I wanted to start more simplified and more object oriented - and of course well prepared.
I’m writing this mainly for the purpose to inform my subscribers with the following offer:
The dev took me a while and the recording will take me some more time. It might be, that some of your subscriptions ran out during that time. This is of course something I have to pay for and I will - so please note:
All current subscriptions will be prolonged (with the same time you basically subscribed) after the series is ready steady to go. So for all of you the good news:
No hurry or even reason for disappointment - you all will be the first to take advantage of the NewModel. Meanwhile you can even download a “preview-freeway-file” to have a look into the expected (silver-subscription required).
I hope this comes up to your expectations. Any questions, notes, advices or wishes? Please don’t hesitate to give me a quick note.
I always enjoy your screencasts and this new series is no exception. Lol, I
liked it so much I tried to renew my subscription before realizing it was
still active! You do such a terrific job at explaining not just the how but
also the why.
I think these types of visual aids are well worth it and helpful to
Freewayers to understand what we are talking about. Looking forward to more
episodes!

I couldn’t have said it better.
Thank you Thomas, even for me it’s clear…
I can’t wait for the following episodes ; )
I just started to watch your screencasts and I’m trying to rebuild what you do there. Being an absolute beginner when it comes to webdesign and Freeway Pro, I’m glad to have found your screencasts. Reading the manual (jeez… nearly 500 pages?!) sure helps, but it’s very boring and doesn’t include tutorials.
Aye, watched them, and probably will have to watch them again sooner or later Freeway Pro is more powerful than I imagined.
Exactly. But let me spend a simple word of honesty:
What you see in my screencasts is the hard, dry and stony “second” way of using Freeway. A lot of things shown there are based on extended designing skills that require another page construction then the so cool and simple “drop and drag items on your working space”.
My personal way was indeed to challenge first the easiness of using Freeway so the way this great app had been basically developed for. After getting more familiar with all that web-stuff and expressions (and believe me I started at the point ZERO (-10) I started to watch how and where I can extend my knowledge step by step.
So in a lot of my screencasts i only scratch the surface cause I was under the impression, that I can for granted. I try to keep that in mind and if you want, I’ll prolong your subscription to a later point (let me know). I’m not after money, but after building a wide(r)-based community-part that starts to discuss on a certain level (even on Ernie’s - but there we’ve got a lot more to do cause in fact he’s the real Prof on board :-).
Thomas:
I’m curious about the tutorials you guys are discussing. Can you point me
to them?
Thanks.

@Thomas: thanks for your honesty, I guess I’ll have to take the hard way instead of the easy drag & drop (which works too of course), since I want to dig deeper into Freeway Pro.
ended with the last episode of the responsive part and it’s now my turn to fulfill my promises:
Prolong your subscriptions.
For the Premium Subscribers I already did (please double-check), but for the Silver Subscribers I need a bit of your help.
They are often expired or close to. So you probably forgot about it? I want to do my job correct, so if I prolong them and you know nothing about it isn’t really helpful, is it?
I try to reach you all, but if not please get in touch with me so you can watch all of the episodes.
I hope that you are happy with the already seen and look forward to the next episodes.
