When I just make a really minor edit to my site frwy uploads the entire site!!! Is it supposed to do that?

It depends - some actions work site wide so an edit on one page requires all pages to be updated.
What actions are you using and are you using the latest versions as there have been some improvements in FW to deal with this sort of issue. What version of FW do you have?

Thanks for answering, I have 5.5 and all I’m doing is changing the order on a showcase generated slideshow. Actually I wish I could find a way to make the slideshow start on a random slide each time my page loads. Have I overlooked a setting somewhere? Appreciate any help, I’m not a savvy web person as you might guess.
