[Pro] FW7 CSS menu action problems

I have been using the CSS menu action successfully for some time, but since updating to FW7 submenus appear overlapped or in the wrong position. Has anyone else experienced this?

Have you tried adjusting this in the settings in the action panel?

And a link to your example online might help us figure it out.

Yep - indeed.

One thought:

If the menu is absolute positioned in a relative positioned parent, this can happen cause by default, FW7 doesn’t declare position by default anymore (we had a discussion about that a few days ago).

Thanks for your suggestions and I apologise for the slow response but I have been away.

You can see the problem at www.tonyhatt.co.uk. The menu on the home page is all over the place and on all the other pages the drop down menu under landscapes is overlapped. I have tried various settings in the action panel but nothing solves it.

It worked fine in Freeway 6 and I have other sites which use CSS menus which I am reluctant to upgrade to F7 until I can find a solution.

CSS Menus are supposed to contain HTML text - as far as I can see yours use gif text!

Thanks David. It worked with GIF text in F6 but rebuilding the menu in HTML has solved the problem.

It shouldn’t have - you were lucky!

rebuilding the menu in HTML has solved the problem.

Rebuilding not required. It should have only have been a matter of selecting the text and changing the Type from Gif to HTML
