I just subscribed to Thomas Kimmich’s excellent tutorials on inline box model design and I’m wondering if the lessons learned are still applicable with Freeway Pro 6.
Yep, they definitely do. Some bits of the interface may have changed, but the principle is the same (just much improved in 6).

Subscription was probably a good idea as likely there will be new content
once Thomas gets a chance to evaluate new features, I imagine.

Yeah, I thought so to. Unfortunately, I seldom pickup on things the first time so I wanted plenty of time to review everything. Plus, all of the monies go towards Walter’s Action Forge upgrade project, which supports FreewayTalk forum members.
But no fear - subscribers are under my personal support and if I detect breakthrough discoveries, I anyway let you know (even if the subscription period expired).
Promised.
Currently I’m working on a clients page-review that I planned to finish in the last version, so I haven’t had the time yet to look deeper in the new UI. I can’t estimate how and when I will be able to tell you more (but am excited).
The workflow is slightly different and I miss currently the ask “undefined height” feature :-). But the basic knowledge should be easily transferable into the new world.
This is the first I’m seeing these screencasts. Thanks for sharing the link! Has anyone figured out how to watch these on a ipad without the column on the right covering up the video? I’m trying to watch episode #013. I prefer to watch on my ipad so I can have freeway up on my laptop and work along with the video. I wonder if Thomas is aware of this issue on the ipad?
That’s strange, Simon. I have an iPad 3, latest OS. The box model videos I described are all obscured with the bar on the right. Now, if I wanted to watch the ones that are on Vimeo (I tried the magic zoom ones for example), those worked fine.
