[Pro] FWPro 5 Site panel

Is there a way to tear off the site panel, so I can put it on my second (palettes) monitor?

No, although it can be changed in size it remains a part of the main
document window. The only way you could approximate this would be to
position things so that the left side of the window sticks out into
the second display. (Not really a solution I know…

Thank you, Keith, for your incredibly prompt reply!

Also looks like the Site/Page Panel defaults back to an unusably thin sliver every time I close and reopen it. Blah.

I can see several other big steps backward in the palettes. Consolidating them instead of making them more specialized. Looks like I have to pop out a menu every time I want to style text.

What’s the use of two monitors at this rate? Oh well, I suppose everyone has different ideas about how things should work!

I do like the List of Items in the Site/Page Panel. That looks handy.

That’s very true: what you don’t like might be someone else’s ideal setup.

Regarding styling text, can’t you simply set up text styles and then
click the right one in the Styles list when you want to style your
text?

Ah, I’m still getting used to this! “Styles and Colors” palette, “Document Styles” tab. Didn’t recognize the icon. Never was a fan of icons. Much more a text man myself.

Yes, thanks so much.

Comes of plunging in at 3:30 a.m.
