I’m about to build a site for someone who is hosting the site (as well as another of their sites) on GoDaddy.
Does anyone know of any problems with using WebYep or any Actions in Freeway being a problem with GoDaddy?
I know I’ve heard folks on here complaining about them from time to time.

I’ve used WebYep on GoDaddy hosting without issue. Just make sure the permissions are set correctly per the instructions in the WebYep documentation and you should be good to go.

One action that appears to incite more questions when hosted on GoDaddy is Tim’s excellent PHP Feedback Form action
Tim has modified his action to allow for GD’s server configuration peculiarities but it still takes a bit more effort to set up because of these.
Where it works ‘out of the box’ on industry standard servers it can cause some headaches with GD.
In saying that Tim is very responsive with support even if you choose a difficult server.
To sum up - while GD has some peculiarities it doesn’t make them a bad choice of host.
