would I open the file in dreamweaver (I use freeway but can’t do the editing in there)
Only if you never want to work on your site in Freeway again! Freeway will delete old files when you next upload, and that will remove the pages that you edit directly.
Instead, find out how to add custom markup to your pages within Freeway. It really should make your life much easier!
