I could be wrong but, if you remove it and add it again then they will do both things on their monthly cycle so you’ll be in the same situation.

Actually, this would put things into a slightly worse situation. The page would no longer be shown in relevant search results until Google got around to re-indexing the site. And that would happen at the normal schedule. There is NO way to hurry things up other than convince Google’s algorithms that your site is chock full of valuable content that people are linking to all the time.

Don’t spam us, but why not post your URL here? We’d be able to take a look for ourselves and give a slightly more informed response… and you’d gain a link into your site from a fairly popular, well-crawled set of pages. (But let me say again, don’t spam us! :wink:

Thanks - when you remove the URL from google - it gives you options as in ‘remove page from index’ or just remove ‘the cache of the page from the index’ - which is what I have done - so in theory Google will reset the cache of the page … we’ll see- not too concerned right now if I do get removed altogether and have to start over - feel free to look at site - its only a work in progress (hence getting frustrated when the changes are not showing in google)…
