[Pro] Google map not functioning in Backdraft

Hi, The Google Map in a recent backdraft site we have done is not functioning. It loads and appear briefly and then comes up with an “Oops, something went wrong error” (See the above URL.

Any ideas as to how to rectify this?

Hi Matt,

we have seen this in Sparkle and are updating the UI to reflect this. Since June 22nd Google has new terms and requires an API key, supposedly only on sites that didn’t previously have a map.

These are the steps to get a working API key that seem to work for our customers:

Now you get a popup with the API key (a string a gibberish).

To use the API key you need to tack it onto the script load, such as:
