[Pro] graphic size and type question

Hi,

I am using icons on my site that are available in every format (.png, .gif, etc). I wanted to know which was most recommended? (I believe .png which supports transparency)

These icons will have some rollover effect with it eventually.

My other question is…

The icons are beautiful but come in sizes like 72 and 128. I need it to be more like 96 in my Freeway document.
If I make the graphic box 96 and do Graphics->scale to box, will the graphic look as Perfect as it did at its original size?

So, my Q is…What is the best way to get the graphic to look as it did as the original just resized.

As long as you alter the FW graphic output settings to suit the quality you want.

The file type will often depend on where/how you want to use them ie if there is transparency and you have them on top of other graphics.
