[Pro] Group Borders

I’m sure this is a very simple issue that I am overlooking, but I have not been able to figure this out.
Some times when I select a few items and group them together the borders of the group itself comes right up to the edge of the items in the group. However sometimes the border extends several pixels outside of the edge of the items in the group. Why does this happen. It is posing a problem for me when I assign a hyperlink to a group.
Thanks so much for your time.

I’m not sure at all that I will answer your question, but have you checked that your alignment is correct? I have found in the past that sometimes when I group items together the “parent” item (if thats what its called) is bigger than the items within the group if they are not aligned correctly.
Just a thought…

Thanks for the help, but that doesn’t seem to be the issue. The outline or border of the group is showing several pixels outside the outlines of the items in the group. Good thought though.
Thanks again.

Is there any graphic text in any of these elements? Often the bounding
box of text can extend outside of the dimensions of the element that
generated it. The result is not clipped to the dimensions of the
graphic box, even though you might expect it to be.

If you are using graphic items and have put borders on them, then check if the borders are on the inside not the outside of the item, you do this in the inspector panel. That might solve your issue.
