When trying to setup h1 tags this is what I am getting in the code… is this right, if not, how can I change it? I’m just trying to get heading setup for when i do my actual text, just using filler text now

If you are just trying to create h1 tags then that is fine - though you seem to have an h1 around a space as well as the line that starts Nulla…

I figured it out, turned out there was that space, and you can’t have that, no big deal. No my question is, how long should the H1 tag be? Is the 160 characters too much?

They are 2 different things
h1 is a Tag - class is a Class
It really means ‘this is an h1 Tag that has the class of ???’
So you can have an h1 with any class that you like it does not detract from it being an h1 Tag.

what about those heading setups?
I think that you are missing a trick here - why not have your graphic header as real text and make it your H1.
eg change it to
Then you could make your ‘Nulla vitae elit libero, a pharetra augue. Praesent commodo cursus magna, vel scelerisque nisl consectetur et. Cras mattis consectetur purus siamet fermentum.’ into an h2 explaining a bit more about H Grant Design

I could do it that way, but i want to keep the background with the speed.quality.personization part. I feel like it gives more a “cool” feeling to it. I feel like too much text is overabundant

That is my point entirely - images have no real SEO value. You are better off with real text.
So - undo the layers and just use the bg.
