I spend a lot of time reading the fantastic help and advice given on this forum as they roll into my inbox so I thought I’d dip my toe in and ask for a bit of help myself.
I am currently building a site for a skip company - using Freeway of course - and i have reached the end of my knowledge with forms!
I thought I had it sussed but the client moved the gate posts on me and added some new requirement. Each item has its own page and therefore its own form, but there are various options that need to be selected.
The site is for Skip Hire and so the first menu list is for the delivery area. This may or may not update the price [shown at the foot of the form] depending on the vicinity. Then they have to select if they need a permit and Parking bay suspension. If they select a council where the skip hire company can not obtain a permit on behalf of the client, they will need to enter a permit number, start date and end date to prove they already have a permit in place. These fields would only appear if the client selects one of these specific councils.
Then they need to indicate whether delivery is within the congestion charge Zone - which will once again update the total price.
One thing that i also need, and you can see on the test page here mka.nialtoservices.co.uk/4-yard-mini-skip.html is that text boxes appear to advise about the selection the client has made.
All sound simple in my head, just need my fingers to communicate all this with the keyboard - Hmm
All advice is most welcome and if it means that one of you can write a script for me to do this - if it’s going to be beyond my current skill set - I am happy to agree a figure with you.
