Hi. My site was tweaked a few months back so that it was semi-responsive. In most browsers, if the window is stretched wide, it should keep the top menus pulled to the right hand edge and the main body of stuff centrally placed.
On my iPhone - the whole site left aligns and leaves a large space down the right hand side.
I’ve checked for stuff hanging over on the right and can’t see anything. The main site is 800px wide.
Any ideas as to how to get it to perform correctly - and go central as it should? What am I missing?
Hi Thomas - thanks for that. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to have worked. Have applied device width, but now my right aligned menus are being left aligned (for some weird reason) and the page still sits with a gap on the right hand side - as before. Not central.
Turned out to be a Google Plus button right at the bottom, looked as though it was in the borders of the webpage - but when it appeared on the actual page was spreading outside the fixed width. Moved it now and website appears properly centred
