[Pro] Help with WebYep KCFinder integration

Hi,
Has anyone managed to get KCFinder to work as a filemanager for CKEditor within WebYep. I would really like to know how to integrate it if anyone knows how.

Thanks,

Richard

Hi Everyone
the reason I haven’t announced the method in public is that there is a slight snag!!

Unfortunately to get the system to work you have to set the authentication to false within the KCFinder upload and we all know that means: NO authentication at all means that everyone and there dog could upload files! if they found the directory that is… so I have sent the method to a few people at the moment and I will have a think about the best method forward with this… unless someone has a bright idea and then I am all ears…

all the best Max

Hi Seoras
I don’t know the PulseCMS so I wouldn’t know how that helps the ckeditor/richtext upload facility within within webyep system, but if it does then let us know and I will have a look.

All the best

Hi Max,

Image file upload was a major issue and consideration for me a while back when looking at simple to integrate cms, shortly after Pulsecms tackled the issue and recently (see link) created a major leap forward. Mark at Pulse has slowly but steadily been developing the software. WebYep is undoubtedly more comprehensive in what it can do but perhaps looking to see how Pulse have tackled the issue might be illuminating. Speaking from a code illiterate point of view.

regards,
