[Pro] Highslide JS and pMachine/Freeway integration

Hi,

We are trying to integrate HighSlide JS into pMachine (our site uses pMachine and Freeway with Joe’s pMachine actions). No tags need to be added to the pMachine content boxes, only basic and tags.

We included the proper JS files into pMachine. The problem is, pMachine converts the tags into its own internal “[url]” format (you can see that here: http://www.wadiocese.com/enews_comments.php?id=705_0_14_250_C).

Can we prevent that from happening? If so, then the JS would work. We do realize that pMachine is no longer supported, but we don’t want to change our site. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Peter

It’s been a while since I’ve looked at pMachine code…

What’s the code you’re putting in pMachine from HighSlide? I’m not familiar with it.

It’s:

It seems that the only thing that needs to go into creating a new entry from the
pMachine interface then, is simple html but that is the part PM doesn’t like.

I don’t know pMachine at all, but in Smarty, there is a tag that means
“treat everything inside this container as code – don’t touch it at
all”. Perhaps there is something similar in the pMachine template
language.

When you say, “We included the proper JS files into pMachine,” what do you mean? Is that referring to the JS “header” files necessary?

I’m wondering if you put the above snippet into a pMachine variable if that would work. There should be a way to use this kind of code, otherwise a lot of things would not work in pMachine, unless that was one of the reasons they redesigned it into EE.
