[Pro] Holiday flat lettings calendar

Hi chaps, I have a friend who’d like a simple site for his holiday rental flat. It will basically just show location and pretty pictures but he’d like a calendar showing availability but he’d have to update this himself (I won’t always be available to do this for him) - anything out there to make this simple ? Many thanks for your time … Roger

Well Roger, for an easy solution I used WebYep and Rich Text to create some tables here: http://rothwellconservativeclub.co.uk/treshamdiary.php
I’m sure there are more elegant solutions but it does work. Hope this helps.

I had the same with a website I did last year:

http://www.amanzi.org.uk and look on the booking page.

My client wanted to charter his yacht and needed a booking calendar. This does not handle payments, but simply shows when the yacht is available and allows the prospective customer to make an enquiry. I bought in the PHP code from http://www.phpscripthelper.com and put it in as a markup item in an HTML box.

The calendar is fully customisable in terms of size, colours etc. by the web designer, and the booking side can be handled easily by the client.

Have a quick look and if you need any more details I’ll be happy to oblige.

I have never used it but have seen it recommended by a web site builder in France who designs sites for B7B etc
