Obviously, it’s a work in progress, but here’s what I’d like to happen:
When someone clicks on any of the orange graphic boxes to the left, text in an HTML layer box would magically change to provide the appropriate description in the same place. But I’d also like to have “before and after” pictures within each of those boxes that, when clicked, bring up larger images of the thumbnail.
There are probably several ways to do this, but it would be helpful to know the best approach if any of you has the time to explain.
Many, many thanks in advance.
(I’m on the other side of the pond and have company coming over; probably can’t respond until tomorrow.)
change to provide the appropriate description in the same place.
The same place as what?
But this can be achieved with Target Show/Hide Layer. Your orange boxes would be a rollover trigger with the Target Show/Hide Layer action applied to layered text boxes containing your descriptive text.
Wow, David, thank you. That’s exactly what I’m after. I’ll give it a go today and see how I fare. I’ve never used Target Show/Hide Layer or ScriptyLightbox before. Likely, the process will take me some time and I may be back for a tip or two as I go. But with your advice I’m already ahead of where I thought I’d be.
David! I do, I do . . . yes, yes, yes. I’ve been so bogged down in server issues for a different client today that I haven’t had time for anything else. The file would be an enormous help.
