[Pro] How to do this?

I’m trying have text and images grouped together so if the font size increases, the images move with the text.

The “Charcoal” template that comes with FW (the .index page) does this perfectly, but I can’t recreate it. Even when I take the entire page and paste it into my document I can’t get it to work. It looks like a bunch of nested html boxes and maybe some fancy grouping, but that doesn’t explain why when I cut and paste the text flow stops working.

Can anyone explain this please? Thanks!

This is called an inline layout (or box model). I think that Charcoal uses the RPL action to make this easy for you.

The RPL action is applied to the site folder and works on the pages within.

Look on the SP knowledge base for more info on using the action.

Well, David you sure made that simple! While I don’t completely understand RPL, I’m very aware that it’s saved my bacon several times. Generally I don’t apply it to an entire site, but on a page-by-page as needed basis. I looked for an action on the Charcoal site and didn’t see one, but I forgot to look in the site folder for one. I also wasn’t aware that when people on here were talking about inline layout/box model they were talking about RPL. So much to learn…

I’ve applied RPL to my page and all the text is flowing as it should. So glad that was an easy fix. I was making it too hard!

Thanks again!

Strictly speaking they weren’t

It is more a construction method that the action tries to emulate - not always successfully. The most bullet proof way is the inline way.
