[Pro] How to make a photo-stock library

I want to make a photo-stock library ( about 1000 photo’s ) with a search function and with the possibility for clients to download, after payment, a highres. photo ( about 8 a 10 mb each )
Anybody tips? what way to go?

I think that you would be best to look for a canned system that you can integrate into a FW created site.

You are dealing with several areas that require a fair bit of security and database coding mixed in with ecommerce etc.

And then you have the added complication of image addition/management.

Have a look at http://www.phpjabbers.com/stiva-gallery/

The guys at PHPJabbers offer a customisation service and they are well known for their helpfulness. They already offer scripts for ecommerce integrating Digital Downloads.

I would send them an email with your requirements and see what they can offer.

Otherwise you are on a steep learning curve with Database Management, E-commerce, Digital Downloads and CMS functionality.

Here’s a quick overview .

Be aware, it isn’t sold anymore on Mafiashare. Only at the one mentioned
before.
And you have to buy the commercial license, which is 5 times the price of
the regular license. Still a bargain in my point of view.
