Any ideas how to make a header that stretches the whole width of the page without making the browser to scroll on left and right. My content is in 960px. but the upper header should be across the whole page.
If you are looking to make a colored banner stretch across the top of the page,(like this, http://kuskofish.com/) that is pretty simple.
Draw a graphic item the height you would like the banner to be, don’t draw it too wide, 5 or 10 px will work, color it. Then export that image. Then on your page select the paint brush icon on the page inspector. On the background setting select the image you just created and set Horizontal to “Tile” and Vertical to “Top”.
I have actually an html as a header and I used an image in it. My page setting are set to 960px. When I make the header 2000px to stretch across the page in preview the page scrows left and right which is not what I want.
You can add a background image to any HTML object (including the page itself) in Freeway. With the HTML box selected, look in the second tab of the Inspector (paintbrush) and you’ll see the same controls you used to add the background to the page itself.

Hey Rich, the problem is that I already used a background image for the page. Can I add another one in Freeway, just like in my case for the header.
