Hi, does any one have and idea where can I find tutorials for this matter, also Im lost about MySQL, need simple tutorials. Thanks KC

Julio,

PHP and MySQL Web Development, ISBN 0-672-32525-X is the best book I
know of, it really is worth working your way through it.

I have some examples created in FW Pro 4 which might help using PHP
and database information from a site created in FW.

Gracias por tu asistencia, soy totalmente grafico y es por eso que
escogi FW, es fantastico y nada de codigos, pero resulta que tengo un
cliente que desea le administre su web (buenos $$$). Esta hecho en
Dreamweaver ( no me gusta y me resulta muy complicado) y todos sus
hyperlinks son en base PHP y el database. Necesito el trabajo pero
ando perdido en estos dos topicos, se que puedo dominarlos pero
necesito algo de tiempo. FW support me contesto que se puede guardar
paginas en PHP, pero no me dicen como, tienes alguna idea, Gracias
muchas, Julio

Yes FW is a great tool for someone like a graphic designer to create
web sites with, although it is a great help not to get your hands
dirty with code you can still integrate hand coding and FW. I know
what you mean about Dreamweaver, I felt the same some years back when
I thought I would give it a whirl when I starting with PHP but I am
now very glad I gave it a miss and stayed with FW and PHP.

You should get some idea of what support mean with the simple but
powerful examples at the link I showed you, you need to remember these
are basics although all fully functional. With one of the examples you
will see some simple PHP used in FW which appears to be a 4 page web
site although in reality it is a one page web site in FW, this
combines with PHP and a MySQL database using this one page and makes
the site appear to have 4 pages… as such, you will see what I mean
when you go through the examples. There is a MySQL database dump file
with the dynamic web site example so you can populate a MySQL database
to run the example on your own server… but you really will need to
understand about PHP to make head or tail of the php scripts.

Parece un número lo que tienes que hacer, realmente debe saber
bestante sobre PHP y de trabajo en bases de datos antes de empezar
este tipo de trabajo, falta bastante tiempo aprendiendo PHP para
ponerte a un nivel para este tipo de trabajo.
