Hi Robert,
The setting is the priority of the specified page relative to other pages on your site. It allows you to specifically tell search engines that some pages are more important than others within your own site. The default value is 5 and sets all of the pages with the same priority ‘weight’.
By setting your contact page (for example) to 10 you are telling the search engine that this content is more important than other similar pages - assuming the engine would have to pick between this and another page on the same site when displaying the search results.
Regards,
Tim.

Roxane,
I too get that hanging. Once or twice useing refresh the check has appeared. You can also have a web masters account with both Yahoo and Bing as well as Google.

I’m getting the same Yahoo hang. Perhaps Yahoo have changed something and the action needs to be updated?

Hi All
Have just got this back from Softpress: thanks for pinging this out to us. It look like Yahoo have moved all their search stuff to Bing So we need to remove Yahoo from the Action. As Yahoo are now using Bing for their search then as long as your site submitted fine to Bing then people should find your Site with no problems and you can ignore the spinning bar for now.
I hope this helps.
