[Pro] html text blocks jumping

I have a bunch of html text blocks adjacent to photos (am doing a RR train sale page for a friend).

When I try to place a .gif overlay (the word SOLD) over the text block after an item is no longer available, the html text block ‘jumps’ upward and is no longer centered vertically on the adjacent photo. If I group the html block, the pix, and the .gif SALE items, they all jump upwards. How can I make sure that the text block and adjacent pix, stay in position after adding the .gif overlay (the overlay is on a 30 degree slant)?

Thanks.

I dont see any gifs over HTML items on this page?

But I think your likely problem is that you are using an unlayered Table structure. Try converting to layers.

Lo Dave. Not using table; will try layers for each item. Thanks.

(Web page didn’t have the problem(s) that I was talking about.

In the meantime, I gave up and just imprinted the word “SOLD” over the original photoshop pix and resampled/reuploaded. Had to get it done.

Will try layered approach on a backup site file.
