Are you uploading the PDFs to the octagon where the PDFs are expected to be?
I am guessing that you are setting up links using the Edit>Hyperlink window, and typing in a path to the files? That’ll work if you are running the site locally, but if you then tell Freeway to upload the site, it won’t include the PDFs in the upload. You have to do that manually, using an FTP application like Transmit.
Freeway CAN manage these assets. There is an Action - Link to PDF which you can use. Go to Insert>Action>Link to PDF. Use the Action Palette to locate the PDF on your HD. When you publish, Freeway will include the PDFs in the Resources folder, and, crucially, when you upload with Freeway, the files will be included!
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help Paul - Unfortunately I must still be doing something wrong - I was eventually able to access the folder using the said program and I dragged the FTP file of names which is c/w their email addresses into the resources folder however I still do not get the online ‘live’ email addresses - anything else you can suggest please -TIA

Ok - are the email links on your Freeway page, or in the PDF? I’m not sure if I’m quite following what you are doing now. Are you providing a link to a PDF which has a list of email addresses in it? I’m not sure how or why a PDF would be losing links to email addresses itself - maybe it’s the application that‘s displaying the PDF not interpreting the email addresses as clickable?
Is there an example somewhere where we can see what’s happening?

Thanks for prompt reply Paul.
OK I have a page with hyperlinked headings taking people to various PDFs that have been selected via the actions window to be opened in a new window and then appropriately labeled. The list in question is multi columned >name - phone - address etc and finishes with the email address which is live when previewed.
I uploaded the PDF in question to the site and placed it in the resources folder of the public folder however when viewed via the web the email addresses are no longer live. You can view the website www.taurangawoodcrafters.org and at the bottom of the page you will need to insert woody as the password (I can change this later to maintain security) and you are looking at the top heading ‘Member Contact Details’ - hope that helps you with your detective work - Cheers Rob
