[Pro] Image maps and Carousel 2?

Is it possible to use image maps that link to other pages within a Carousel 2 or a Carousel 2 pane? If so, how is that accomplished?

What have you tried so far? It may just work. If you can’t get the image map to work, what will definitely work is this:

  1. On the pasteboard, draw an empty graphic box the size you want your click target to be. Drag it over the top of the pane, and assign it a link.
  2. Click on the Site header over the left pane of the Freeway interface so it becomes Page.
  3. Locate the empty graphic box in the list of page elements, then drag it underneath and to the right of the pane name. The pane name will highlight to indicate that you are making it the parent of the empty graphic box. The box will not move on screen.

Now publish and preview in a browser.

I only tried using the image map tool, which doesn’t work. I’ll try your solution instead.
