All was going well until i made a mistake-tried to correct-got confused-deleted everything & started over. now i can’t get images to appear in browser… just the place holder (?) with the question mark. Anyone have any idea where i’m going wrong? Images are all gif.

Are you using FW’s upload facility or FTP - sounds like you have missing images on the server.

sorry deltadave… forgot. using ftp (yummy & i’ve tried freeway’s own). what puzzles me is that as fart as i can remember i’m doing just what i was when all was going well

If you are using FTP then you have to include the Resources folder as well - that is where all your image files are stored.
Why not use FW’s own upload facility then you do not have to remember to upload everything coz FW does it for you.
