I’ve come up with what I think is a unique problem. I want to email someone a 1 page document. This page will have a kind of graphic layout that when they roll their mouse over objects they have little tags that open with some brief notes.
My idea was to make it as if I were making a new site or page for my site, view it in a browser like Safari, then save the page as a Web Archive. That will give me a self contained html document that I could email to someone as an attachment. They double click it and it should open in their browser, with all the roll over features working. That way I don’t have to send a whole site folder, etc. They’re not on a Mac.
This is my plan. Is it possible?
Any special advice?
I would test this, but I doubt it will work on anything other than
Safari. So at that level of end-user hardship (installing a new
application) you might as well just find a cheap/free hosting provider
and upload the site there and send them a link. That’s a well-worn
path and Freeway will make it easy.

Thanks so much for taking the time Walter.
The more I think about it, the more I’m deciding the best idea is to make a private sign-in password section on my site where I can host that page.
