[Pro] Is there an action for this?

Hi. I’ve been trying out the Showcase app and action in Freeway and it isn’t too bad (especially on the thumbnails), but what I was really hoping to do was something more like this in appearance when clicking the thumbnails:

http://www.pixelmator.com/sneak-preview/
(click on any of the three thumbnails toward the bottom of that page)

btw… Is there any way to control the size of the larger image apart from manually cropping or resizing it?

Thanks,
-Mike

Actually, just to add to this… I see Softpress themselves have the same sort of effect in behavior/appearance on the Freeway Pro information page:

Mike I think you have to do the manual size and cropping thing. I’ve never had muck luck with apps/actions that auto crop and size.

This is what Softpress is using on their site - cabel.name: FancyZoom 1.1

Scripty Lightbox 2 sizes photos to fit the screen with CSS. If you use a truly large image, it will take forever to load, but the image will fit the screen.

FWIW, I just noticed that Showcase can indeed automatically scale the large image to a designated size. I just didn’t notice that I had things set to passthrough.

OK, two new Showcase questions… I have 5 images and there is plenty of room to display all 5 thumbnails horizontally below the larger image in a slideshow. Is there a way to hide the unnecessary/confusing arrows appearing on the left and right side of the thumbnail area? I mean… there are no more thumbnails to see… so they make no sense at all.

Is there any way to turn off the auto play of the images?

Mike; in the Actions palette, could you perhaps choose ‘Thumbnail Gallery’ instead of ‘Slideshow’?

Actually, I think I do want the slideshow so the larger picture will be at a particular spot… I figured it out though, I can put a couple boxes on top of the arrows and that effectively hides them from view and prevents any clicks.

And if you change the slideshow duration to its Max of 60 then it will take a while to play.
