[Pro] Is there an action to do this

I have a page that the content will be way too long and I want to break it up so the visitor can choose as Pages: 1 2 3 4 …

What is the best way to do this and simplest as possible (showing on the same page-if possible).

Thanks for any help.

This is often called Pagination and there isn’t an action that will do this. Typically you would find this feature in a CMS system that would do this automatically, but as of right now you will have to manually do this yourself.

What about http://www.softpress.com/action_files/Link_To_Page/Sample/1.html? It will only do next and previous or first and last pages though.

If you want it all on one page, have a look around for the Paul
Dunning’s tab tutorial, or my example of how to do this with
Prototype. http://freewaytalk.net/thread/view/73549

Thanks for the responses.

After careful consideration I have decided not to break up the page.

Thanks a lot!

There are always Anchors as useful in page navigation.

Have a sub menu at the top of your page with links to Anchors on the various sections.
