[Pro] Item Disappear Timer

Hi, I’m working on a Site Search feature. I have managed to integrate it into my website with the ability to toggle search field to appear/disappear by pressing a graphic icon. (Like “Spotlight” feature on Mac desktop on the top right hand corner that when you click on the magnifying glass and the field appear. Click on it again and it disappear.)

However, the field is obtrusive when appear so I want to set the search field to disappear automatically disappear if it is left idle/inactive for a certain period of time. Is that possible?

So far, I have managed to make the field appear and disappear using Transition FX. I am thinking that to make it disappear automatically, I might need some sort of timer that is triggered when the user first click to show the field. Something like “onclick” in the item extended menu. But for the life of me I can’t find a way to make it disappear after a set period of time. Am I on the right track here?

What about the ‘Sequence Timer’ action.

Thanks for your suggestion David, I gave that a go but it seems to now interfere with transition FX that I already have on the page. Is there any other way you can think of?
