[Pro] It's time to ante up.

I really appreciate all the hard work Joe Billings and the folks at softpress have put into the new Freeway Pro 6, and although the latest upgrade may not have all of the features we were hoping for, I think most of us would agree that it’s a huge step forward.

Having said that I don’t want to see companies like softpress disappear so it’s important we all ante up and support softpress by purchasing an upgrade. And while you’re at it, why not get a copy of Exhibeo too.

I’ll be purchasing my copies momentarily.

Upgraded to 6 yesterday and so far - great. Only a small issue. Getting Exhibeo right now. Bye!

On another note, when was the last time the CEO of Adobe actually participated in a forum such as this?

Joe Billings, who is the Managing Director of softpress, routinely visits this forum and frequently offers advice and helps customers with any problems they may be having. I don’t think customer service gets much better than that.

I believe John Warnock was the last CEO of Adobe who actually knew how to use Photoshop (since he wrote large chunks of version 1 and 2). I wish Adobe had stayed true to their roots, instead of trying to take over Business America by becoming a boring gray office company.

My pint glass is raised to Joe and the rest of the amazing team at Softpress for another gravity-defying leap!

I remember a few years ago I was having some awful Freeway problems and the previous MD of Softpress, Richard, actually rang me up to try and get things sorted. Can’t see that happening with many other companies.

I’d love to upgrade. Please tell me the “Scrolling in Preview” and “temp style proliferation” bugs have been addressed.

agreed, looks like some issues are being sorted out promptly, I will be updating shortly - have to do a number of upgrades including Adobe - can’t manage without it, just cannot get on with Pixelmator (grrrr…)

I agree with all . we must support softpress. I have not been able to work with 6 as I have some bugs that are being fixed but they are quick to respond and very soon the few little problems will be history…
I am looking forward to FW6 so thanks Joe and team!

Unfortunately, not here. Just downloaded it and it behaves the same way. This is incredibly disappointing!

This is my sixth version of Freeway, unless you count the minor between
updates. Every version gets better and this one is no different.

We’ve had years to master v5, and now that time is over. Time to keep
moving forward.

As a box model user, the new Master page enhancements/options have fulfilled my dreams. Thank you Softpress.

I should have read this post first: http://freewaytalk.net/thread/view/124186
Instead of “box model” I really meant Inline Layout.

Oh sorry. Not fixed. Only happens on pages with iframes.

I’d upgrade, but I’m only on OS 10.5.8. I’ll need a new computer which I can’t afford right now.

Hopefully I won;t fall too far behind.

I just purchased my copy last night. At first glance it looks surprisingly similar to FWP 5.5

I’m still not crazy about how FWP handles Actions, both from a listing and application standpoint. Too much redundancy IMHO.

Totally agree! Purchased the Upgrade the night it came out.
