Does anyone know a work around so that I can have a javascript accordion and a script lightbox on the same page. Lightbox does not work correctly when I have the java statement in the page mark up before
I can’t use Scripty accordion in this instance.
Can you post a link to the page where you’ve tried this?
ScriptyAccordion and ScriptyLightbox were both written by me, I can assure you that they work perfectly together!

No. I’m using a javascript accordion with a Scripty lightbox item on the page. When I have that code for the accordion in the mark up of the page, the lightbox does not occur, it just goes to a new page in the browser.
Could you please post a link? Or just open up the Safari Web Inspector, look in the console, and see what the angry red text says?
It sounds like you are adding an accordion that does not play well with Prototype.js. If your accordion effect is based in jQuery, then you will need to be a master at JavaScript coding to get the two to behave. It is always best to use only one JavaScript library – either Prototype or jQuery, never both.

Right. That’s your whole problem right there. Neither the accordion effect or ScriptyLightbox will work on this page. jQuery and Prototype head-butt one another, and are both rendered unconscious.
Why do you not want to use ScriptyAccordion on this page? It’s going to work correctly. Likewise, if you are insistent on using jQuery in the page, why not find one of the many lightbox scripts out there that works with jQuery, and use that instead of ScriptyLightbox?
Can you suggest a lightbox script? I would use the scripty accordion action but I don’t have the time to re-build right now and was looking for a quick way to show the Boxwood tree image larger.
I don’t use jQuery myself, maybe someone else on the list has one they like.
