[Pro] Keychain

I’m new to Freeway. I am currently using the trial version of Freeway 7 Pro, about to buy it.
There is one thing which I find annoying: On every upload Freeway Pro asks me twice for permission to use my confidential information in my keychain, which I answer with “Deny”. I am missing an option “Always Deny”, which from then on prevents such dialogs. I definitely don’t want to use keychain.
Is there a solution to this? Thanks!

That’s bad news, Joe. But thanks for the answer anyway.

It would be great (or even indispensible) to have an option in the Freeway Preferences: “Freeway to use Keychain: yes/no”.

Freeway to use Keychain: yes/no”.

Why do you not want to use Keychain?

I too am stumped. Okay, maybe if it’s not your own Mac and you don’t want to store your details on someone else’s system. But it’s the best way to manage login details. Seriously, start using Keychain.

It is my own Mac. But I have an old reluctance to giving away login details to a program. I think login details are best kept in my head.
But, yes, maybe I should reconsider my attitude to this subject.

I remember reading about the encryption that Apple chose for this feature, and thinking that maybe if you set fire to your Mac and then crushed it and then put it in a smelter, your password would be more completely un-findable.

As MacUser’s Technical Editor I would agree that, yes, it’s worth
reconsidering. In fact, I’d say these days it’s a bit tinfoil hat not to
use Keychain.
