[Pro] Layer dimensions

Hi!
I would like to insert a layer that covers the whole width of the screen even in an absolute position. Take a look to the link.
Hope I’ve been quite clear…
Thanx a lot!

There’s an Action for that – Background Supersizer on ActionsForge.

Gulp! I saw the action. But what I need is a little bit different.
How can I have an absolute layer that covers the total width (100%) of the screen?
If you take a look the the link, I am not talking about the picture with tha bag; I am referring to the stripes that scroll with the content…

You can do that with a basic inline layout. First, make sure that the page is set to Align : None in the Page Inspector.

Draw an HTML item on the page the full width of the page. In the Inspector, set the width of this box to 100%.

Next, double-click inside it so you get a flashing text cursor, and use Insert / HTML Item from the main menu to create your first “page”. Set it also to 100% width, and nest any content you want to center within that as a third level of inline element (with its margin set to Auto to center it).

Each additional “page” is added within the outer-most box as another inline element. The result is nested like this:

outer box -------------
	first page --------
	second page ---
	third page ------

The page background is set to not scroll, and the background of your “page” elements creates the stripes. Add the background super-sizer to complete the illusion.
