I just found out the terrible news about FW. It is truly devastating. I went to download the current version but found the link doesn’t link to a standard download. Does anyone know the answer to that? I have 7.1.3 but I understand there is an update. Is that correct? I’d still like a current download.
I hope I have not missed an earlier post about this.
On the other hand, even once I get it, I may not update it. I have not had to do major work since the FW disaster. But, so far, I have not had problems with Sierra.
I would have liked the developers to have gone out to the FW community before doing what they did in case there was some way we could have tried to save it. Perhaps they can open source it for others to try maintaining?

We dont believe that this was a possible option for SP.
As far as Open Sourcing goes - until it has been worked out who now owns any SP assets nothing like that is going to happen - maybe never.
