[Pro] Link Map

I’m a new Freeway Pro user. I’ve used a template and added pages, but they don’t show up in the Link Map. How to I add them?

If I read right - the link map shows linked pages.
If you added pages but haven’t linked to them from each other - then they
wont show in the link map.
Maybe that helps?

That may be the problem. How do I link pages to each other? They show in the Site Folder and they are tied to the master… but not linked. No information on this is provided in the Freeway user manual.

As part of your site navigation you will link one page to the next ie Home, About Us, Products, Contact etc - this should be set up on your Master Page(s) as the natural way to get round your site.

By doing this the Link Map will form automatically.

Any text can have a link applied to it. Just hilight the text and choose Edit>Hyperlink where you will see a dialogue box that has Internal and External tabs. To link to an internal page just click the page you wish to link to from the list. Click OK and you have created a link.

You sound like you are approaching this from the outside.
A Freeway document becomes a proxy version of your whole site. You should
not need to interact with the site folder at all - let Freeway look after
all that is in there.
Pages link or rather have links that call another page.
The link can be applied to text or image.
So simply to apply links that are set to other pages in your Freeway
document will show in the link map.
There’s heaps about hyperlinks in the manual.

There are also introductory tutorials that can start you off on a good foot.

all the best
