[Pro] Linklok

Hello,

Has anyone successfully used Linklok cloaking software on Freeway?
The system always seems to rename my .php files to .php.html.
Also the Download link, which needs to be cloaked, is not a routine page but something like

<?php print linklokcb($FileName,90); ?>

In GoLive it’s easy to put such a link into the code, but how can it be done in Freeway? The Hyperlink section expects the link to be a regular page.

Yours,

Duncan Wherrrett

Just finished a project with Linklok and FW and it all works fine. Not sure why you get the funky code. Have you checked with Adrian from Linklok he is a very helpful chap and generally gets things worked out in a jif.

It sounds a lot to me like you are using Freeway’s Title tag (in the
Inspector) to change the Filename. There are two fields in the Page
Inspector, one labeled Title and the other labeled Filename. While
it’s true that changes to the Title are automagically reflected in the
Filename, the moment you edit the Filename that link is broken, and
Freeway “listens” to you.

So if you are changing Title to “Some Title.php” (and you’ve never
hand-edited the filename field yourself), you will get
“sometitle.php.html” in your Filename field. But if you make the Title
“Some Title” and the Filename “somethingelse.php”, that is precisely
what you will get when you publish. They stay linked until you un-link
them.
