[Pro] Making One Word in Paagraph a Different Size

Not sure if this is possible, but…

I’d like to make the first word of a paragraph a larger font than the rest of the paragraph. Is this possible to do? Right now, the paragraph can only be one size.

Or, is this just a “web thing”?

Thanks.

You can size text on an individual basis very easily - just create your normal paragraph style and apply it.

Then select the text you want to alter and simply change the text size in the inspector. Use the same units that you used for the paragraph style.

That makes a new “.style1” in the CSS styles. I’d like to avoid that if possible. Especially if it will do that every time I make that change, which I suspect it will.

Then create a named style that only has character attributes and apply that instead.

It cant be done without calling it something!

OK. That makes sense.

Thanks.

That makes a new “.style1” in the CSS styles. I’d like to avoid that
if possible. Especially if it will do that every time I make that
change, which I suspect it will.

Then create the style first in the Styles editor and name it what you
want then apply it to the word. No more “,style1”.
