I’m getting the error: link verification failed message on my e-buy buttons. I set up everything in the Mal’s admin and pasted the key code into my settings on the freeway site folder according to the freeway manual’s instructions. Any ideas on what is going on?
Is it possible that you have the wrong web address entered into the web address field in Mal’s? I think the hash key is geberated based on your web address and if it’s not the same as the web address your page is on then it fails.

I found the problem! By comparing the link created using freeway with the mal’s button creator link I was able to find that there was a space inserted at the end of my user id in freeway. The moral is one has to be careful when copying and pasting such things!
Thanks for letting me know. I’ll log a suggestion to automagically remove spaces from the either end of the user ID and hash code.
